Between 28 and 30 April, there was the 6th Regional Roadmap meeting for FMD control in West Eurasia. Fourteen countries were present with a very diverse levels of FMD infection. Outcomes of this meeting indicate the need for more training on risk-based FMD control, more support to monitoring and evaluation of current control strategies and strengthening the network between epidemiologist and virologists in the countries
